Overview
The L27a Royal Pleco is a highly sought-after large-growing Panaque, recognised for its dark body, striking golden or yellow-gold lateral lines and impressive adult size.
Like other Royal Plecos, it is a specialist wood-feeding species and should be provided with plenty of natural driftwood throughout its aquarium. It is best suited to experienced keepers who can provide a large, mature aquarium with strong filtration and excellent water quality.
